Terms of Use
1. Acceptance
By accessing www.iblawyer.ae or using any of its content or forms, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy Policy and Disclaimer published with them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Nature of the website
The website is an informational and initial-contact platform for a law firm licensed in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. It is not an electronic court, does not of itself deliver binding legal advice, and does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship.
3. No attorney-client relationship by mere contact
An attorney-client relationship, and any duty of representation or binding advice, arises only after the Firm accepts the matter in writing, an engagement letter (or equivalent) is signed, and conflict and compliance checks are completed. Completing a form, sending a message or booking an appointment is not acceptance of a mandate.
Do not send confidential information or sensitive documents before engagement is accepted. Information sent beforehand will be handled with professional caution but does not create a duty to represent.
4. Use of content
Published content – including articles, guides and introductory materials – is for general awareness only. Copying, republishing or commercial exploitation without prior written consent is prohibited, save for a short fair quotation with attribution. All intellectual-property rights remain with the Firm or their respective owners.
5. User conduct
You agree not to use the website in breach of UAE law; to transmit false, abusive or infringing content; to attempt to compromise systems or flood servers; or to impersonate another person. The Firm may refuse any request or block access where there is a breach or a reasonable suspicion of misuse.
6. Fees and services
Published information is not a binding offer or a final fee quote. Fees and scope are set in the engagement letter. The Firm may decline any matter, without obligation to give reasons, where a professional or legal ground exists, including a conflict of interest or AML requirements.
7. External links
The website may contain links to sites or services that the Firm does not control. We are not responsible for their content or policies. Use of those sites is at your own risk.
8. Availability
The website is provided “as is”. It may be suspended or modified, in whole or in part, for maintenance, development or security, without giving rise to any claim for compensation.
9. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them, without prejudice to any mandatory jurisdiction prescribed by law.
10. Language
These Terms are issued in Arabic and English. In the event of conflict, the Arabic text shall prevail.
11. Changes
The Terms may be amended by publishing an updated version on the website. Amendments take effect on the date of publication.
